Austin's coolest way for women to learn, share, and collaborate over a glass of wine is always kicking off new sessions of Guitar, Songwriting, and Band Classes! Girl Guitar focuses on a full music experience, encouraging women to take their inherent love of music and carry on with playing, writing, performing, collaborating, booking, and generally just having a great time! Whether you're just getting started or taking your skills up a step, Girl Guitar is the most fun you'll have in your journey to the stage!

Join us at Girl Guitar for the world's most supportive and easygoing open mic! This is a great place to polish or get your feet wet in the world of open mics. Join us for a long weekend of fireside pickers circles, beach AND pool swimming, live music, wine, yoga, sleep, food, and fun with your Girl Guitar family. All planned events are for women on multiple levels of musical ability and are open to all; they're also completely optional, so no need to wear yourself out doing all of it! Come let your hair down and have a great time on the beautiful Texas coast.
The cost is $550/pp and includes lodging, group activities, and onsite meals. There will be one restaurant meal, which is covered by the camper.

You'll need your own set of guitar strings, and shopping locally is highly encouraged! A peg winder and some wire cutters are hugely helpful, although not mandatory.

Are you intimidated by altered tunings? Want a way to spice up your guitar sound? The short-cut capo allows you to dip a toe into the world of altered tunings, and add color and texture to songs quickly and easily - without even having to learn a bunch of new chord shapes!
You will need a Kyser Short-Cut Partial Capo or a Shubb C7B Partial Capo as well as a regular capo for this class. Shop local if you can, but these are also available on Amazon!
