Metaphors can elevate your songwriting, grab the listener and make them think in new ways, or make an experience more relatable to them. They aren’t always easy to come by though! In the first part of this workshop, we’ll dig into some exercises to get that creative part of your brain kicking and help you generate new metaphors! 

The second part of the workshop will be open to song sharing and feedback. Bring copies of your lyrics and your instrument if you’d like to share. Whether you share a song or not, by listening and responding in the group, you’ll learn a lot about songwriting principles that you can take back to your own songs!
