Start From Zero is a welcoming, low-pressure workshop designed for women who have always wanted to play guitar but didn’t know where to begin — or thought they missed their chance. In this 90-minute group experience, you’ll learn the fundamentals in a supportive, judgment-free environment where questions are encouraged and perfection is not required. Guitars are available to borrow, no prior experience is necessary, and you’ll make music on day one. More than a class, this workshop is an invitation into Girl Guitar — Austin’s home for women in music — where confidence, creativity, and community matter just as much as chords.
